benefits of excercise

Exercising is something I've done for years, and it's always been a big part of my life. Whether you like fitness as a sport or leisure, exercising is very much a habit you have. When it comes to working life, I find that exercise has improved my productivity in the office much more than other people. It reduces anxiety and tension, improves your mood, can improve your sleep pattern, and relieve stress and back pain. So, I'm going to share five reasons why I love physical activity so much before we get into what exercise does for our bodies!

1) It helps us relieve stress

When we're stressed out, it can be hard to concentrate at work or after school when we have classes to attend and tasks due. Being able to just set aside time each day for gym workouts can help us relax. We may not think about exercise at all if we don't like it, but our minds are always busy thinking about doing them. Exercise releases endorphins and makes us feel happy. There were times many would go for days without exercise because they didn't like doing it and would rather do anything else. However, after working through the benefits of exercise, I can say that it gave me more energy to deal with life. Not only did I feel happier, I felt physically better too. The best thing? It made me feel energetic and ready to make it through the day. A more active person means that I can tackle any project that will come up. That will increase the chances of success. This is important, especially in jobs where you have to complete loads of tasks every day, even though there might be other things to focus on. In business, it's pretty common, that if we want to succeed, we need to put all our chips on the line. Workouts help us become more mentally strong and make us feel like great team members.

2) Exercise boosts your immune system

I know this sounds boring, but I can assure you that being regularly active keeps our immune systems healthy! Our muscles often experience inflammation after exercise, which can lead to infections. When we exercise, it allows for blood flow throughout the body which prevents this from happening. With less blood flow, we have a lower chance of catching an infection. 3) If you want a healthier sex life, go to the gym!

Yes, lots of women don't like gyms, but we need to get out and get moving. It doesn't matter if you're into sports, dance, or gymnastics. Every month (or even every day), we should get outside of our comfort zone by walking around and enjoying nature. Many of these activities may seem intimidating but once you begin to understand how to use them you'll realize that they become easy. No gym bag! Sure it's not cheap, but once you do a basic workout, you won't regret investing your money. As you progress with the workouts, you'll soon realize that it becomes fun and easy to complete. Once you reach your target heart rate, count how many calories you burned while you were active. If you notice those numbers are high (you may struggle to get past the first few times), then we need to give ourselves some exercise to boost our metabolism and allow us to achieve our weight loss goals. Don't worry if you spend hours and hours watching TV, just start and see how far you can run!

4) It gets my mind off daily stresses

When working long hours, or trying to learn new technology, it's quite noticeable when we feel tired, as we always had to concentrate on everything. Yet, after sitting down for 15 minutes of exercise every day, we have such a clear headspace and our mind is free from everyday stress. Yes, it can be hard at times, but we need that to work. By running outside and enjoying the sunshine we give ourselves the power to think again. Your brain is telling you we have accomplished something yet we never knew how. Even though you're doing a class or two, it's still good practice! Now, I can tell you that everyone who understands how to cope with stress is one of the happiest people out there. One way to avoid stress is to exercise daily, whether you're going to college or simply living a quiet and peaceful lifestyle. Another key benefit to exercise is that you can easily identify areas in your life that you can change! Like getting to the gym and working out in your car. For example, if you're looking for ways to reduce stress, there are plenty of online resources that can benefit you, making a conscious effort to add more exercise in! And yes, sometimes, a lot of things can wait until later after a long day before we feel it, but we need to work hard in the meantime.

5) It gives us a balance

People are often lazy and they don’t want to take things from their schedules. They're afraid that if they workout on Tuesday night they’ll miss Saturday or if they do, then they won't have enough time to finish studying for exams or doing homework. But, it isn’t these things that make you lazy! Instead, try to do something active, like going for a walk, or learning a language. Exercise will help you maintain a steady stream of energy throughout the day, and get over daily mental hurdles. Why not change your routine as well as possible while you're at it? So, the bottom line is: that exercising is worth it! It increases our overall health and lowers the risk of the poor immune system, illness, and depression. Let's get busy!
